Description

Barco Foodgrade Liquid gel colour. This is a super-concentrated LIQUID GEL color.

Popular uses:
To mix into
1. Batters (Red/Blue Velvet, Rainbow Cakes etc.) dough, fudge, meringue, cookies, macaroons.
2. Sugar paste, cake mixes, fondant, gum paste, royal icing, buttercream, marzipan.
3. Pastillage
4. Butter icing and royal icing

How to use it: Use the dropper, add small amounts as these are concentrated colours. The liquid gel dyes are more concentrated than traditional liquid food colourings, so you need less, which is important in recipes where you want to minimize the amount of liquid added (such as in meringue and macaroons). Since you need less, there is less of a chance the colouring with adversely flavour the food too.

Add equal amounts of corn flour or sugar flour (Icing sugar) and gel to your fondant, icing gum/flower paste etc and allow the mix to rest and develop before use for at least an hour. The colors will develop and the mixture will become more pliable.

Delivery Information

Retail Customers: Orders placed before 12pm AEST on business days, will receive same day* dispatch. If orders are placed after 12pm AEST they will ship the next Business Day*.

Trade & Wholesale Customers: If you have a business registed with us orders can take up to 2 Business days* before they are dispatched.

Once your order has been shipped from our warehouse the delivery time is approximately:

  • On the Eastern Seaboard (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne) within 1-2 business days
  • In NT, SA, TAS, WA and other remote locations within 3-7 business days
  • PLEASE NOTE: Expect a possible extra business day delay on deliveries, leading up to and around the holiday period and long weekends.

Unfortunately our Couriers cannot deliver to PO BOXES, so please ensure you supply us with a physical delivery address.

Pick up orders will be ready approx. 24 hours* (allow 24-48 hours* if you have a business registeded with us) after your order is placed, you should receive notification that your order is ready to collect but if you are unsure if your order is ready or not, please contact us before coming in to store.
